A board game I designed under the restrictions of: Be made for 2 players, have rules that fit on a single printed page using the template formatting, and have one additional single printable page that contains the game board, among other restrictions.
Board Game Rules and Restrictions
1. Be made for 2 players
2. Have rules that fit on a single printed page using the template formatting
3. Have one additional single printable page that contains the game board
4. You must have an original board design. It can't borrow from an existing game. This also
excludes the classic 8x8 chess board grid. Come up with something more interesting.
5. You may use Pawns or a stand-in proxy (checkers, beads, coins, etc..)
6. You may have up to 4 kinds and maximum of 20 each.
7. Be sure to list what each pawn / game piece does
8. The board must be fixed. It can't be made of cards (like Catan), tiles, or any other
moveable pieces. It needs to be printable by other students so that it is contained on a
single page.
9. Use only up to 2D6 (two six sided dice) and no other form of randomization
10. You may choose to use a single D6, or 2D6 per player as you see fit.
11. No cards, spinners, coin flips, or any other form of randomization.
12. Pieces must be generic and readily accessible to everyone. This means no puzzle
pieces, or jenga, or lego, or other very specific items that everyone may not have. When
in doubt, stick to pawns, coins, or simple printed single sided pieces.
13. Be more based on skill than luck
14. It Takes less than 30 minutes to play, including setup.
